NOVELTY - Graphene-loaded cobalt oxide nanocomposite comprises cobalt oxide, which is loaded on graphene (2-95 wt.%) having a thickness of 0.3-50 nm. The cobalt oxide has granularity of 1-200 nm. It is spherical or sheet-shaped. USE - Graphene-loaded cobalt oxide nanocomposite. ADVANTAGE - The size of cobalt oxide is controllable. The reduction of graphene and the generation of cobalt oxide are completed simultaneously. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for production of graphene-loaded cobalt oxide nanocomposite comprising: (A) dissolving graphene (1 pt.wt.) in water (100-100000 pts.wt.); adding cobaltous salt (0.01-40 pts.wt.); and agitating or ultrasonically processing the materials for 0.2-5 hours; (B) dissolving alkali (0.1-10 pts.wt.) in water (1-1000 pts.wt.); adding oxidant (0.1-10 pts.wt.); and agitating or ultrasonically processing the materials for 0.2-5 hours; and (C) mixing, agitating, or ultrasonically processing the solution obtained for 0.2-5 hours; transferring the mixed solution into a high-temperature reaction kettle; tempering the materials at 100-250 degrees C for 3-30 hours to obtain a product; and washing and drying the product to obtain graphene-loaded cobalt oxide nanocomposite.
