NOVELTY - A graphene kernel large particle size abrasive is prepared by mixing high purity flake graphite, concentrated sulfuric acid, fuming nitric acid, and concentrated phosphoric acid, washing with ultrapure water to pH 7, suction filtering, placing filtered material in oven at 25-300 degrees C, drying for 12-96 hours, and collecting and drying the material; and mixing the dried material, concentrated sulfuric acid, nitrates, and strong oxidizers, diluting in water, adding hydrogen peroxide, mixing for 0.1-3 hours, neutralizing with hydrochloric acid, washing with ultrapure water, and concentrating. USE - Method for preparing graphene kernel large particle size abrasive (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method produces stable and uniform abrasive material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene kernel large particle size abrasive comprises: (A) mixing high purity flake graphite, concentrated sulfuric acid, fuming nitric acid, and concentrated phosphoric acid for 1-16 hours, washing with ultrapure water to pH 7, suction filtering, placing filtered material in high temperature oven at 25-300 degrees C, drying for 12-96 hours, and collecting and drying the material; (B) mixing the dried material, concentrated sulfuric acid, nitrates, and strong oxidizers for 1-20 hours, diluting in water, adding hydrogen peroxide, mixing for 0.1-3 hours, neutralizing with hydrochloric acid, washing with ultrapure water, and concentrating to different concentrations of graphene oxide sol; (C) diluting the obtained graphene oxide sol to different concentrations of graphene oxide solution; (D) filling in resin column, monitoring pH using a pH test paper, and rinsing with deionized water until neutral; and (E) adding alkaline substance to adjust the pH to alkaline, pouring into 3-neck flask, heating, stirring, controlling pH value, and cooling.
