NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene-modified spandex fiber, involves mixing graphene material (I) and chain extender with organic solvent to obtain solution (A), mixing diisocyanate, polyether diol and graphene material (II) with organic solvent, polymerizing to obtain pre-polymer solution, mixing solution (A) and pre-polymer solution to obtain polymer solution, dissolving graphene material (III) and dispersant in organic solvent to obtain slurry, mixing slurry with polymer solution, aging and spinning. USE - Preparation of graphene-modified spandex fiber for use in, e.g. sportswear, underwear, ski suit, swimwear, socks, conveyor belt and medical fabrics. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of graphene-modified spandex fiber with high elongation at break, breaking strength, high conductivity and excellent antibacterial activity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene-modified spandex fiber, involves mixing graphene material (I) and chain extender with organic solvent to obtain solution (A), mixing diisocyanate, polyether diol and graphene material (II) with organic solvent, polymerizing to obtain pre-polymer solution, mixing solution (A) and pre-polymer solution to obtain polymer solution, dissolving graphene material (III) and dispersant in organic solvent to obtain slurry, mixing slurry with polymer solution, aging and spinning.
