NOVELTY - A modified micro-nano functional material is prepared by modifying an inorganic micro-nano functional material with a liquid metal, where the modification method involves processing the inorganic micro-nano functional material and the liquid metal by mechanical grinding, so that the empty orbital in the liquid metal forms a strong interaction with the lone pair of electrons existing on the surface of the inorganic micro-nano material to anchor on the surface of the micro-nano material through chemical action induced by mechanical shearing. USE - The modified micro-nano functional material is useful as polymer functional filler, functional coating or interface filling material (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The modified micro-nano functional material can improve the functionality of the composite material while maintaining the mechanical properties, and eases the processing characteristics of the composite material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of the modified micro-nano functional material; and (2) a high thermal conductive composite material, which is prepared by adding a modified thermal conductive filler to polymer and then processing.
