NOVELTY - Chemical modification of graphene oxide inorganic filler comprises soaking inorganic filler into concentrate sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide mixture at 90 degrees C, performing hydroxylated surface treatment, washing, drying, treating with silane coupling agent, adding graphene oxide powder or graphene oxide solution into 2-(N-morpholino)ethanesulfonic acid (MES) buffer solution, controlling pH at 5.8-6.0, adding 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide (EDC) and N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS), ultrasonic treating, reacting with inorganic filler, filtering, washing, and drying. USE - Method for chemical modifying graphene oxide inorganic filler used for preparing epoxy resin composite material (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and environment-friendly. The graphene oxide inorganic filler has strong covalent bond and high mechanical strength. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Chemical modification of graphene oxide inorganic filler comprises soaking inorganic filler into concentrate sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide mixture at 90 degrees C for 30 minutes, performing hydroxylated surface treatment, washing with water, drying, treating with silane coupling agent to obtain modified inorganic filler solution, adding graphene oxide powder or graphene oxide solution into 2-(N-morpholino)ethanesulfonic acid (MES) buffer solution, controlling pH at 5.8-6.0, adding 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide (EDC) and N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS), ultrasonic treating for 1-3 hours, reacting with inorganic filler, filtering, washing, and drying.
