NOVELTY - Preparation of granules having corrugated morphologies involves dispersing graphene oxide nanosheets and a structural modifier in an aqueous medium, forming an aqueous dispersion, atomizing the dispersion, forming spray of droplets of the dispersion; and drying the droplets of the dispersion. USE - Preparation of granules having corrugated morphologies used for fabricating electrical components, energy storage, water desalination and catalytic applications. Uses include but are not limited to sorption of oil or solvents, additives for polymeric or ceramic materials, and electrode material of supercapacitors for energy storage. ADVANTAGE - The method effectively provides granules having corrugated morphologies by a robust, scalable, and safe method.
