NOVELTY - A flame retardant polyurethane foam comprises flame retardant and polyurethane foam. The flame retardant comprises polydopamine and graphene material. USE - Flame retardant polyurethane foam. ADVANTAGE - The foam has excellent comprehensive performance in layer-by-layer assembled polydopamines flame retardant layer, uses polydopamine and graphene material to form stable surface coating, keeps excellent mechanical property, provides effective flame retardance, and reduces hidden trouble of safety foam product in practical application. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing flame retardant polyurethane foam comprising adding graphene material into solvent, stirring to obtain graphene suspension, repeatedly dipping and extruding polyurethane foam in graphene suspension, forming conformal coating, soaking polyurethane foam containing conformal coating into dopamine aqueous solution, adjusting pH to carry out self-polymerization reaction to obtain poly-dopamine film, repeating steps to form alternating conformal coating and poly-dopamine film, and drying.
