NOVELTY - A high-purity silica gel is prepared by adding tartaric acid into absolute ethanol, magnetically stirring, dropping into purified sodium silicate solution, and stirring and mixing to obtain silica gel solution; screening modified graphene, ultrasonically dispersing in methanol, setting power of stirrer, and ultrasonically dispersing to obtain dispersed graphene solution; adding to silica gel solution, stirring to obtain silica gel, heating, aging, washing aged silica gel with deionized water until upper layer liquid is clear, vacuum drying, and calcining into muffle furnace to obtain porous silica gel; and adding residual methanol and surfactant into stirrer, stirring to obtain mixed modifier, soaking porous silica gel, filtering, putting soaked porous silica gel into muffle furnace for staged heating and drying, heating, cooling , and keeping temperature. USE - The method is used for preparing high-purity silica gel for oil field exploitation, storage and sales and absorbing volatile organic gas. . ADVANTAGE - The method has simple technique, and uses purified sodium silicate and pollution-free tartaric acid to prepare silica gel. The product has high purity, better service to production life of human, good adsorption performance and better service to production life of human, and increases mechanical strength and adsorption performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A high-purity silica gel is prepared by: (A) preparing 20-30 pts. wt. purified sodium silicate solution, 5-10 pts. wt. methanol, 3-6 pts. wt. modified graphene, 15-30 pts. wt. tartaric acid, 15-30 pts. wt. absolute ethanol, 3-5 pts. wt. surfactant and 15-30 pts. wt. deionized water; (B) adding tartaric acid into absolute ethanol, magnetically stirring at 50-60 degrees C for 20-40 minutes to obtain tartaric acid solution, dropping into purified sodium silicate solution at speed of 1-2 mL/minute, and stirring and mixing at speed of 50-100 revolutions/minute (rpm) to obtain silica gel solution; (C) screening modified graphene using 250-mesh screen, ultrasonically dispersing modified graphene in 50% of total mass of methanol, setting power of stirrer at 200 W, and ultrasonically dispersing for 2-4 hours to obtain dispersed graphene solution; (D) adding to silica gel solution, stirring for 30-60 minutes at speed of 200-300 rpm to obtain silica gel, heating to 60-90 degrees C, aging for 5-10 hours, washing aged silica gel with deionized water until upper layer liquid is clear, vacuum drying for 2-3 hours, and calcining into muffle furnace at 450-500 degrees C for 0.5-1.0 hour to obtain porous silica gel; and (E) adding residual methanol and surfactant into stirrer, stirring for 5-10 minutes at speed of 50-100 rpm to obtain mixed modifier, soaking porous silica gel for 5-10 hours, filtering, putting soaked porous silica gel into muffle furnace for staged heating and drying, heating at 50 degrees C for 1 hour and 200 degrees C for 1 hour, cooling to 50 degrees C, and keeping temperature for 1 hour.
