NOVELTY - Preparation of polypropylene-grafted graphene oxide composite material involves dispersing graphene oxide in a toluene solution, ultrasonically cleaning, adding 3-triethoxysilylpropylamine, refluxing, stirring, vacuum-filtering, washing with dichloromethane, drying, dissolving obtained product in a xylene solution, ultrasonically processing, obtaining an uniform black suspension solution, adding branched polypropylene, heating, refluxing, reacting, adding a mixed solution of polypropylene and xylene, reacting, extracting resultant product, and drying in vacuum. USE - Preparation of polypropylene-grafted graphene oxide composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of polypropylene-grafted graphene oxide composite material having excellent dispersibility of graphene oxide, and tensile strength improved by more than 20%. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of polypropylene-grafted graphene oxide composite material involves dispersing graphene oxide in a toluene solution, ultrasonically cleaning at 300 W for 30 minutes, adding 3-triethoxysilylpropylamine, refluxing, stirring for 8 hours, vacuum-filtering, washing with dichloromethane, drying in vacuum at 50 degrees C for 4 hours, dissolving obtained product in a xylene solution, ultrasonically processing for 2 hours, obtaining an uniform black suspension solution, adding quantitative amount of branched polypropylene, heating, refluxing at 120 degrees C, reacting at constant temperature for predetermined time, adding a mixed solution of polypropylene and xylene, reacting, extracting resultant product, and drying in vacuum.
