NOVELTY - Preparing uranium dioxide-graphene composite fuel core block comprises (i) adding ammonia water into the uranyl nitrate solution, reacting to obtain ammonium diuranate, obtaining ammonium diuranate powder, heating to obtain triuranium oxide, using hydrogen to heat and reduce it into uranium dioxide powder; (ii) uniformly dispersing the graphene oxide standard solution in the de-ionized water to obtain the graphene oxide suspension; (iii) uniformly dispersing the uranium dioxide powder prepared in the step (i) in the graphene oxide suspension prepared in the step (ii); (iv) filtering the uranium dioxide-graphene oxide suspension obtained in the step (iii), drying, sintering, and using hydrogen to reduce to uranium dioxide-graphene oxide mixed powder; (v) placing the uranium dioxide-graphene oxide mixed powder prepared in the step (iv) into a mold for pressing and molding, demolding, obtaining uranium dioxide-graphene oxide core block blank. USE - The method further comprises preparing uranium dioxide-graphene composite fuel core block. ADVANTAGE - The method: prepares uranium dioxide-graphene composite fuel core block, which has high thermal conductivity, and improves the safety of nuclear reactor operation.
