NOVELTY - Preparing graphene gas gel-based noble metal catalyst comprises e.g. stirring the graphene oxide powder with pure water in ultrasonic dispersion and mechanically to obtain stable dispersibility of the oxidized graphene aqueous solution, adding noble metal salt into the graphene oxide aqueous solution, adding glutaraldehyde and then adjusting pH of solution to 5-6, stirring mechanical at 30-35 degrees C for 0.5-2 hours to obtain mixed solution of noble metal salt/oxidized graphene, adding the mixed solution and reducing agent sodium borohydride, stirring uniformly, performing hydro-thermal reaction. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene gas gel-based noble metal catalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is carried out under the low temperature condition, mild reaction condition, consumes less energy and convenient to operate, and is suitable for the application of large scale in industry, and is economical. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene gas gel-based noble metal catalyst comprises (i) stirring the graphene oxide powder with pure water in ultrasonic dispersion and mechanically to obtain stable dispersibility of the oxidized graphene aqueous solution, (ii) adding noble metal salt into the graphene oxide aqueous solution, adding glutaraldehyde and then adjusting pH of the solution to 5-6, stirring mechanical at 30-35 degrees C for 0.5-2 hours to obtain mixed solution of the noble metal salt/oxidized graphene, (iii) adding the mixed solution and the reducing agent sodium borohydride, stirring uniformly, performing hydro-thermal reaction for 2-10 hours at 33-37 degrees C, obtaining noble metal graphene hydrogel, (iv) freezing and drying to remove the solvent, temperature of the freezing drying is -60 to -30 degrees C, the vacuum degree is 5-30Pa, drying time is 10-24 hours, obtaining graphene air gel based noble metal catalyst.
