NOVELTY - A graphene ash content detecting method involves removing oxygen-containing functional group in graphene oxide, heating the product until yellow smoke is dissipated at a first temperature, heating the product at second temperature until no black spot without ignition and subjecting the calcined product to ash detection, where the second temperature is higher than the first temperature. USE - Method for detecting graphene ash content. ADVANTAGE - The method enables detecting graphene ash content with better accuracy and stability, and solving the phenomenon of gravel pyrolysis of the graphene oxide in the process of burning ash.
