▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Producing functionalized graphene comprises contacting graphite oxide with at least one functionalizing compound in the presence of at least one first ionic liquid at a pressure and temperature and for a period of time to exfoliate, reduce and functionalize the graphite oxide to produce functionalized graphene. USE - The method is useful for producing functionalized graphene (claimed), which is useful in nanoelectronics, nanophotonics, electric devices and sensors. ADVANTAGE - The method simply and efficiently produces the functionalized graphene with improved mechanical properties including electrical conductivity, scalability, thermal resistance, organophilicity and interfacial interactions and good wettability in a cost-effective manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a composition comprising graphene oxide, an ionic liquid and the functionalizing compound; and (2) the functionalized graphene comprising a graphene moiety functionalized with at least one silane moiety, where the graphene moiety is covalently linked with the silane moiety through a carboxylate group.
