NOVELTY - Preparation of alginate-graphene double network nanocomposite gel beads comprises mixing graphene oxide, polyvinyl alcohol and sodium alginate in acidic, alkaline or neutral aqueous solution and ultrasonically stirring; slowly adding divalent ion salt solution and crosslinking at 0-100 degrees C; water bath heating at 50-100 degrees C for not greater than 5 hours with reducing agent; and soaking iron(III) chloride solution, preparing hydrogen peroxide solution, UV irradiating, magnetically stirring, and slowly adding hydrogen peroxide solution. USE - Method for preparing alginate-graphene double network nanocomposite gel beads (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The gel beads have higher adsorption properties and salt and alkali resistance than pure condensate rubber ball and single network gel balls.
