▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Graphene is continuously or semi-continuously produced by introducing particles comprising core into a stationary deposition chamber and subjecting to plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) using a carbon-containing gas, forming solid graphene directly on the surface of the particles, and harvesting the particles. USE - A continuous or semi-continuous process for production of graphene. ADVANTAGE - The possibility to control the orientation of the graphene flakes is highly advantageous, as it makes it possible to tailor the properties of the graphene-coated particles. The process substantially reduces or eliminates emissions, improves control of quality and product parameters, and provides a homogeneous coating on the particles all in one process. The process allows easy up-scaling and industrial application, providing a novel approach to large-scale graphene production. Additionally, the use of particles as the substrate for the deposition of graphene significantly increases the available surface. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) production unit for producing graphene-coated particles, comprising greater than or equal to 1 stationary main chamber and, optionally, a 2nd chamber, where particle feeder, movable substrate or support, heating element, greater than or equal to 1 ionized plasma generator, and collecting unit are located in the main chamber, and where optionally, collecting unit is movable from main chamber to optional, 2nd chamber without compromising the pressure, temperature, or gas atmosphere of the main chamber; and (2) graphene-coated particle comprising core and graphene layer surrounding the core, where core is selected from metal, metal oxide, metalloid, and non-metal particles, and graphene layer comprises graphene sheets or flakes oriented at an angle between the plane of the graphene sheets or flakes, and the tangent plane of the surface of the particle is 0-180 degrees .
