NOVELTY - A ternary oxide/graphene-based composite electrode material comprises ternary oxide particles. The surface of the ternary oxide particles is coated with graphene. The ternary oxide particles are linked by graphene. USE - The ternary oxide/graphene-based composite electrode material is useful in anode for sodium ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The ternary oxide/graphene-based composite electrode material is economical, prepared by simple method with low energy consumption and suitable for large-scale industrial production, and has excellent controllability and high capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) anode, which comprises ternary oxide/graphene-based composite electrode material; and (2) preparation method of ternary oxide/graphene-based composite electrode material, which involves uniformly mixing manganese dioxide, iron(III) oxide, nickel oxide, sodium fluoride and sodium carbonate and ball milling, pressing the mixture at 2 MPa, cooling to room temperature, mixing graphene with fluorine-doped ternary oxide particles in weight ratio of 1:5-1:15 and ball milling.
