NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene oxide composite gel comprises taking sodium acrylate, acrylamide as monomer, graphene oxide as additive, potassium persulfate as initiator, N,N-methylene-bisacrylamide as crosslinking agent, and deionized water as solvent, and carrying out suspension polymerization reaction. USE - Method for preparing graphene oxide composite gel used for heavy metal adsorption (claimed) including lead and cadmium ions in wastewater. ADVANTAGE - The method has low cost, and simple process.
