NOVELTY - A platinum supported catalyst is prepared by taking graphene foam powder FG as raw material, oxidizing through Hummers method to obtain oxidized graphene foam OFG, using oxidized graphene foam OFG as raw material for polyamide-amine supramolecular grafting to modify to obtain catalyst carrier SMOFG, immersing in chloroplatinic acid solution, taking out, dipping catalyst carrier with chloroplatinic acid under the atmosphere of carbon monoxide and water, reacting at 30-50 degrees C for 5-16 hours, heating to 180-250 degrees C, and reacting for 10-40 minutes. USE - The method is used for preparing platinum supported catalyst used for preparing cyclododecanol (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The product has high yield and low impurity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for synthesis of cyclododecanol using platinum-supported catalyst comprising hydrogenation reacting raw materials 9,10-epoxy-1,5-cyclododecadiene and platinum-supported catalyst in reactor at 40-250 degrees C at reaction pressure of 0.5-30 Mpa.
