USE - The method is used for preparing platinum supported catalyst used for preparing cyclododecanol (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The product has high yield and low impurity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for synthesis of cyclododecanol using platinum-supported catalyst comprising hydrogenation reacting raw materials 9,10-epoxy-1,5-cyclododecadiene and platinum-supported catalyst in reactor at 40-250 degrees C at reaction pressure of 0.5-30 Mpa.
