NOVELTY - Preparing platinum-based high-entropy alloy electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction and hydrogen evolution reaction, comprises adding metal salt aqueous solution and hydrochloric acid aqueous solution into the surfactant, ultrasonically processing, placing the mixed solution in a water bath, controlling the rotation speed to be more than 200 revolutions/minute, adding a reducing agent aqueous solution and reacting to obtain a mixed solution, centrifuging mixed solution and cleaning to obtain nanocrystals, and dispersing the nanocrystals in ethanol to obtain the ethanol suspension of nanocrystals, dispersing the carbon carrier in ethanol, adding the ethanol suspension of nanocrystals, and ultrasonically processing, centrifuging and post-processing. USE - The platinum-based high-entropy alloy electrocatalyst is useful in hydrogen evolution and oxygen reduction reaction (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare platinum-based high-entropy alloy electrocatalyst that has excellent electro-catalytic activity and durability.
