NOVELTY - The graphene photonic crystal fiber liquid electrode electro-optical modulator comprises a photonic crystal optical fiber (101) which has an air-hole. The air-hole is covered on the surface of a graphene film and is filled with the ionic liquid (201). The two ends of the photonic crystal are arranged with a metal electrode (301) so as to obtain the electro-optical modulator. USE - Graphene photonic crystal fiber liquid electrode electro-optical modulator. ADVANTAGE - The electrode electro-optical modulator has a wide working frequency band, high modulation efficiency, low energy consumption, simple manufacturing technique, and good integrated optoelectronic system.
