NOVELTY - Electrochemical cell comprises anode, cathode, and an ion-permeable membrane arranged between the anode and the cathode. The anode and the cathode includes a slurry electrode composition. The slurry electrode composition comprises solid ion storage compound particle in a liquid electrolyte. The solid ion storage compound particle is capable of taking up or releasing ions and have a polydisperse size distribution and the particle packing fraction is 50 vol.%. USE - Electrochemical cell. ADVANTAGE - The electrochemical cell has high particle packing density, high electron conductivity, and high tap density.
