NOVELTY - Manufacture of a graphite heat-dissipation sheet involves forming a coating layer on the surface of graphite by electrostatic spray coating a powder coating on the surface of the graphite sheet, fixing a lower protective sheet to the lower end of a lamination machine, laminating the graphite sheet on the lower protective sheet, manufacturing a laminate by laminating an upper protective sheet on the graphite sheet, and laminating by passing the laminate through a laminating roller. The powder coating comprises 80-90 pts. wt. epoxy resin comprising 30-40 wt.% o-cresol novolac epoxy resin having a softening point of 70-90° C and 60-70 wt.% bisphenol A type epoxy resin having a softening point of 110-120° C, 10-30 pts. wt. polyester resin containing a carboxyl group at the terminal, 0.1-5 pts. wt. curing accelerator, and 20-30 pts. wt. layered clay mineral. The curing accelerator is 2-methylimidazole. The layered clay mineral is halloysite. USE - Manufacture of graphite heat-dissipation sheet used for display panel. ADVANTAGE - The method produces graphite heat-dissipation sheet having improved heat-dissipation characteristics, because the coating layer is formed on the graphite surface.
