NOVELTY - Environment friendly preparation of graphene comprises mixing 1 g natural flake graphite, hydroiodic acid and succinic acid under the condition of ice bath, adding 6 g potassium ferrate, mixing while reacting in ice bath for 70 minutes, heating at 65 degrees C for 16 hours, placing reaction product in ice water, adding hydrogen peroxide, mixing until the color of solution changes to lemon yellow, filtering through centrifuge, washing filtered product with potassium carbonate and distilled water until the pH reaches 6.5-7 to obtain graphite oxide, dispersing graphite oxide in water, performing ultrasonic treatment for 8 hours, placing in vacuum drying oven for drying to obtain graphene, recycling and reusing waste water. USE - The method is for environment friendly preparation of graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method adopts low and high temperature two-stage reaction, makes control easier, shortens process flow, improves work efficiency and overall quality of graphene and solves disadvantages of the traditional three-stage reaction which is difficult to control. The natural flake graphite, hydroiodic acid and succinic acid can reduce harmful gas during preparation, protects environment and health, increases environmental protection. The potassium carbonate is recycled and saves preparation cost.
