NOVELTY - Preparing metal-carbon composite involves mixing carbon nanotube, graphene oxide, metal salt and metal nanowire to obtain aqueous mixture. The obtained aqueous mixture is frozen to obtain cryo-composite. The obtained cryo-composite is dried to obtain dry composite and reduced obtained dry composite to obtain metal-carbon composite. USE - Method for preparing metal-carbon composite (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing aerogel, which involves : (A) mixing graphene oxide, metal salt and catalyst to obtain aqueous mixture; (B) curing obtained aqueous mixture to obtain wet gel; and (C) washing and drying obtained wet gel to obtain metal-graphene oxide aerogel, which comprises graphene oxide scaffold.
