NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene and removal of sulfate from sulfate-containing wastewater involves using microbial electrolysis cells concentrated in the field of production capacity and wastewater treatment for in situ production of graphene and synergistic treatment of sulfate wastewater, forming a stable autotrophic biofilm on the cathode by acclimating a certain microbial amount of sulfate-reducing bacteria, inoculating into cathode chamber, manually collecting sulfate-containing wastewater having certain solubility, adding certain concentration of graphene oxide, ultrasonically dispersing, determining reasonable hydraulic retention time, replacing substrate at the end of cycle operation to effectively collect graphene in effluent of cathode chamber and achieve a certain amount of sulfate removal.
