NOVELTY - Preparing barrier type polyester packaging material comprises (i) taking 40-99 pts. wt. polyester A, 1-60 pts. wt. polymer B, 0.01-10 pts. wt. compatibilizer, 0.01-10 pts. wt. functional auxiliary agent and 0-5 pts. wt. two-dimensional filler, melting, mixing and extruding to form film or sheet and cooling quickly to 1-220 degrees C to make the crystallinity less than 20%; (ii) carrying out biaxially stretched of the cooled film or sheet under the temperature 1-150 degrees C and heating at more than 5-150 degrees C or (a) taking 40-99 pts. wt. polyester A, 1-60 pts. wt. polymer B, 0.01-10 pts. wt. compatibilizer, 0.01-10 pts. wt. functional auxiliary agent and 0-5 pts. wt. two-dimensional filler, melting and mixing and forming tube blank through the tubular machine head die and cooling the tube blank quickly to 1-220 degrees C to make the crystallinity less than 20 %; and (b) using the tube film biaxially stretched process to blow the cooled tube blank under the temperature of 1-150 degrees C, drafting and shaping. USE - The barrier type polyester packaging material is useful in daily necessities, chemical, food, food additives and medical packaging fields (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: can solve technical issues that cause differences in barrier resistance in two component compatibility, control a particular biaxially stretched process to form a large amount of two-dimensional sheet structure, increases the diffusion path in the film in the film, so that the gas permeation coefficient can reduce 1-2 orders of magnitude; produces renewable macroscopically monolay layer; and produces high barrier packaging material which is easy to recover. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for barrier type polyester packaging material, prepared as specified above.
