NOVELTY - Preparing an ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene composite material involves adding single-layer graphene oxide and vitamin-E to the a solvent, and dispersing thoroughly. The ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) powder is added to the obtained solution, which is then dispersed thoroughly by magnetic stirring. The dispersed product is sonicated and subjected to stripping to obtain powder, which is then treated in a ball mill to form a uniform mixed powder. USE - Method for preparing ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene composite material, which has excellent abrasion resistance, mechanical properties, biocompatibility, anti-oxidation, and anti-aging properties, reduces wear and tear, and reduces the debris caused by the degree of adverse reactions of cells. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing an ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene composite material involves adding single-layer graphene oxide and vitamin-E to the a solvent, and dispersing thoroughly. The ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) powder is added to the obtained solution, which is then dispersed thoroughly by magnetic stirring. The dispersed product is sonicated and subjected to stripping to obtain powder, which is then treated in a ball mill to form a uniform mixed powder. The mixed powder is added to a mold, subjected to pre-pressing by using a plate vulcanizing machine, placing in an incubator at certain temperature, and treated in a flat vulcanizing machine to obtain a composite material, which is then cooled to room temperature. The obtained composite material is vacuum sealed and then irradiated with gamma-rays at a room temperature at an irradiation of 100 kGy to obtain ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene composite material, where dosage rate of irradiation is 5kGyh-1, and gamma-ray source material is 60-cobalt.
