NOVELTY - A bismuth tungstate/graphene aerogel composite visible photocatalyst is prepared by adopting improved Hummers method, using graphite powder, preparing graphene oxide, dispersing in 50 mL acetic acid aqueous solution, obtaining 2-5 mg/mL graphene oxide dispersion liquid, adding 0.1 mmol bismuth(III) nitrate dihydrate, stirring, obtaining solution A, taking 0.1 mmol sodium tungstate and 20 mL water, mixing, adding solution A, stirring for 10 minutes, carrying out hydrothermal reaction at 180 degrees C for 3 hours, cooling, carrying out dialysis treatment, and freeze drying. USE - Method for preparing bismuth tungstate/graphene aerogel composite visible photocatalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple. It has organic pollutant high removal efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for application of bismuth tungstate/graphene aerogel composite visible photocatalyst comprising taking 3-4 mg/mL bismuth tungstate/graphene aerogel composite visible photocatalyst, carrying out natural solar light irradiation for 4 hours, adding wastewater, extruding, carrying out repeated cycling, and removing rhodamine B at rate of 99%.
