NOVELTY - Polyester fiber with self-purification function comprises titanium dioxide intercalated graphene functional particle and polyester resin blending granulation after melt spinning, where the preparation of titanium dioxide intercalated graphene functional particle comprises: e.g. (i) placing expanded or scaled graphite in concentrated sulfuric acid, placing under ice water bath, adding potassium permanganate slowly, adding deionized water and hydrogen peroxide, where the solution from brown black turn into bright yellow, centrifuging to obtain graphene oxide. USE - Used as polyester fiber with self-purification function. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, environmentally friendly and saves energy. The fiber is durable and stable. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Polyester fiber with self-purification function comprises titanium dioxide intercalated graphene functional particle and polyester resin blending granulation after melt spinning, where the preparation of titanium dioxide intercalated graphene functional particle comprises: (i) placing expanded or scaled graphite in concentrated sulfuric acid, placing under ice water bath, adding potassium permanganate slowly, adding deionized water and hydrogen peroxide, where the solution from brown black turn into bright yellow, centrifuging to obtain graphene oxide; (ii) placing graphene oxide in a hydrothermal reactor, reacting under certain conditions of temperature ultrasonic system of water containing graphene oxide; (iii) dispersing prepared oxidized graphene containing interlayer water in carbon tetrachloride, adding butyl titanate, carrying out ultrasonic dispersion to a full reaction under sealed conditions, reacting under temperature in a hydrothermal reactor, filtering with anhydrous alcohol to obtain titanium dioxide intercalated graphene; and (iv) dispersing titanium dioxide intercalated graphene in water, irradiating under 400-watt UV lamp irradiation, cutting into micro, nano scale particles and carrying out rapid freeze-drying.
