NOVELTY - A surface coating of the copper roller of the belt furnace comprises a silica gel coating comprising silicate and water in the molar ratio of 1:(2.5-3.5), where the reaction of silicate and water is catalyzed by an acidic catalyst. USE - Surface coating of copper roller of belt furnace used for neodymium-iron-boron material. ADVANTAGE - The belt throwing furnace copper roller surface coating has excellent anti-cold and cold fatigue performance, heat conducting performance, and bonding force between the silica gel coating and the metal ceramic coating, and effectively separates the oxygen in the air and copper roller and contact the high temperature solution directly and the copper roller contact, and reduces the shock damage of the cold and hot impact to the -Si-O-network structure in the coating, so as to protect the coating and improve the protection period of the coating. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of surface coating of the copper roller of the belt furnace, which involves adding water into silicate, heating under the catalysis of acidic catalyst to obtain silica gel polymer, spraying on the surface of copper roller of the belt furnace and curing at 150-200°C to form a film-like silica gel coating.
