NOVELTY - The method for preparing coal-based graphene quantum dots, involves: mixing the coal-based raw material with excessive nitric acid, and carrying out pre-oxidation reaction at 15-30 degrees Celsius for 0.5-2 hours on the obtained mixture to obtain a pre-oxidation reaction mixture; carrying out microwave digestion treatment on the pre-oxidation reaction mixture at 120-180 degrees Celsius for 0.5-1 hours to obtain an oxidation reaction product; and removing nitric acid in the oxidation reaction product, and washing and drying the obtained solid. USE - The method is useful for preparing coal-based graphene quantum dot, which is useful in biological imaging, disease detection, drug transportation, photoelectric device, Raman enhancement, catalysts and sensors. ADVANTAGE - The method can reduce the oxidation reaction preparing the caustic scale graphene the quantum dot, shortening the reaction time, which is good for realizing the high value utilization of the coal-based raw material.
