NOVELTY - Preparing multi-layer plywood comprises e.g. (1) preparing sound insulation emulsion, (2) preparing single plate using wood, performing sand grinding treatment to the surface of the single plate, (3) coating the double faces of the single plate with multi-layer sound insulation emulsion, (4) solidifying the multi-layer sound insulation emulsion coated on the surface of the single plate, (5) adding the solidified single plate in a constant-temperature and constant-humidity box to preserve for a period of time, and (6) removing out the single board, coating adhesive on the single surface of the single board, bonding the multiple single boards, and hot pressing and cold pressing to obtain the multi-layer plywood. USE - The method is useful for preparing multi-layer plywood, which is useful for sound insulation. ADVANTAGE - The method combines carboxy group on the surface of the multi-layer graphene oxide with the hydroxy group of furfuryl alcohol to form a stable structure. The multi-layer plywood has good sound insulation effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing multi-layer plywood comprises (1) preparing sound insulation emulsion as follows: (1.1) dissolving acid catalyst in solvent under constant temperature water bath to obtain acid catalyst solution, (1.2) recovering the acid catalyst solution to the room temperature, slowly adding the furfuryl alcohol solution, magnetically stirring for certain time, stop stirring until the furfuryl alcohol solution is clear and transparent yellow, (1.3) slowly adding multilayer graphene oxide nano sheet and polyvinyl pyrrolidone solution into the solution obtained in the step (1.2), magnetically stirring for a certain time, and performing ultrasonic emulsification to obtain sound insulation emulsion, (2) preparing single plate using wood, performing sand grinding treatment to the surface of the single plate, (3) coating the double faces of the single plate with multi-layer sound insulation emulsion, (4) solidifying the multi-layer sound insulation emulsion coated on the surface of the single plate, (5) adding the solidified single plate in a constant-temperature and constant-humidity box to preserve for a period of time, and (6) removing out the single board, coating adhesive on the single surface of the single board, bonding the multiple single boards, and hot pressing and cold pressing to obtain the multi-layer plywood. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for multi-layer plywood for sound insulation, comprising multiple single plates, the double surfaces of the single plate are coated with multi-layer sound insulation emulsion, and the single plate and single plate are fixedly connected by adhesive.
