NOVELTY - Flame retardant product comprises flammable substances with hydrophilic group and coating with graphene oxide on the flammable material surface i.e. graphene oxide flame retardant coating, where the graphene oxide flame retardant coating contains 3-45 wt.% flame retardants and 55-97 wt.% graphene oxide. USE - Used as flame retardant product. ADVANTAGE - The flame retardant product has good thermal stability. The method is simple, economical and suitable for industrial production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing flame retardant product comprising: (i) mixing graphene oxide and flame retardant in the presence of solvent to obtain a solution; and (ii) coating of step (i) solution containing hydrophilic group on flammable substances and drying.
