▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Synthesizing near infrared graphene quantum dot, comprises reacting graphene source with mixture of sulfuric acid and nitric acid at 50-120 degrees C and neutralizing the reaction solution by adding sodium hydroxide and sodium carbonate. USE - The quantum dot is useful for optical imaging, tumor targeting or drug carrier in bio-medical field (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is easy and does not use cadmium. The quantum dot is convenient to use, biocompatible, biodegradable, non-toxic and stable under variety of conditions having high luminance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for near infrared graphene quantum dot, prepared by the above mentioned method.
