▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A nanocomposite comprises a sintered mixture of 0.5 wt.% tungsten carbide and graphene nanoparticles. USE - Nanocomposite used for manufacturing cutting tool. ADVANTAGE - The nanocomposite provides cutting tool having improved wear resistance and fracture toughness without compromising other mechanical properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of the nanocomposite, which involves (a) de-agglomerating graphene in a container with cyclohexane and ultrasonically processing for 1 hour, (b) homogenizing the mixture in high energy mill at 1500 rpm for 2 hours with an additive of a jar and carbide sphere, such that ratio of the mixture is 10:1, (c) drying the tungsten carbide mixture and graphene in an oven at a temperature of 80° C, and (d) sintering the tungsten carbide-graphene mixture through spark plasma sintering.
