NOVELTY - The electronic component (100) has a ceramic body (110) that includes a dielectric layer (111) and an internal electrode (121,122). An electrode layer (131A,131B) is electrically connected to the internal electrode. A conductive resin layer (132A,132B) is disposed on the electrode layer, and includes a conductive metal, a graphene platelet, and a base resin. USE - Multilayer ceramic electronic component used in mobile communication devices. Can be used as multilayer ceramic capacitor, and can be used in, e.g., computers, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and cellular phones. ADVANTAGE - Provides a multilayer ceramic electronic component that has low equivalent series resistance, and to which an external electrode paste is applied.
