NOVELTY - Method for preparing spherical nickel powder involves (a) adding nickel powder to be processed into a solution system containing cationic surfactant, and cleaning to obtain modified nickel powder, (b) adding the modified nickel pulp to a graphene oxide dispersion liquid to obtain a modified nickel product coated with graphene oxide, and (c) spheroidizing the obtained modified nickel substance coated with the graphene oxide by a plasma spherical hydrolysis device to obtain the final product. USE - Preparation method of spherical nickel powder used in three-dimensional (3D) printing process and injection molding. ADVANTAGE - The method provides spherical nickel powder with high uniformity and high sphericity. The method realizes the modification of the graphene oxide to the nickel powder by the electrostatic adsorption effect, the universality of the plasma spheroidizing device is high, and the introduction of graphene oxide effectively makes up the problem of nickel powder high temperature thermal conductivity difference, so as to improve the sphenroidizing degree and uniformity of the powder.
