NOVELTY - Large-core-diameter optical fibers comprise a waveguide structure which is a step refractive index or graded refractive index profile, and a glass layer having a diameter of 200-1000 mu m, and including inner and outer layers which are coated with a fluorine-containing acrylate-graphene composite fiber coating comprising 15-70 wt.% oligomer, 15-70 wt.% active monomer diluent, 0.5-10 wt.% photoinitiator, and 1-10 wt.% additive. The additive is a heat stabilizer prepared by mixing a silane-coupling agent and modified graphene oxide. USE - Large-core-diameter optical fibers. ADVANTAGE - The large-core-diameter optical fibers have excellent water resistance and fatigue resistance.
