NOVELTY - Preparation of anode catalyst of alcohol fuel cell comprises dispersing conductive carbon material into aqueous solution, adding ruthenium trichloride aqueous solution and sodium hypophosphite, ultrasonically dispersing, adjusting pH to 8-10, freeze-drying, adding in closed reaction vessel, annealing under nitrogen atmosphere, washing and drying to obtain ruthenium phosphide on conductive carbon material; and adding to ethylene glycol together with platinum-based metal precursor to obtain uniform suspension, adjusting pH to 8-10, subjecting to microwave heating or hydrothermal reaction, washing, and vacuum drying. USE - The method is for preparation of anode catalyst of alcohol fuel cell. ADVANTAGE - The anode catalyst solve the problem of metal dissolved ruthenium in the platinum-ruthenium alloy catalyst especially in the acidic electrolyte, and has high catalytic activity and stability, anti-reaction intermediate poisoning ability, and simple and convenient preparation method.
