NOVELTY - Method for producing graphene, involves heating a mixture of powders of a carbon source and an oxidizing agent at 200-300 degrees C to start process of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis, introducing the carbon source in the form of a biopolymer powder and introducing the oxidizing agent in the form of a powder of ammonium salts at a ratio of 20-80 wt.% biopolymer powder and 80-20 wt.% ammonium salt powder. USE - The method is used for producing graphene.
