NOVELTY - Preparing functional graphene loaded with turmeric extract involves preparing graphene oxide under the conditions of ice bath and stirring, slowly adding the mixture of graphite powder and sodium nitrate to concentrated sulfuric acid, continuing to stir for 2 to 5 minutes, adding potassium permanganate powder, stirring well until the temperature stabilizes to normal temperature, continuing to stir for 30-45min, slowly adding deionized water, diluting it with ionized water to 8-10 times the original volume, then adding a certain amount of hydrogen peroxide solution, filtering. USE - Method for preparing functional graphene loaded with turmeric extract for obtaining antibacterial material in the preparation of decorative materials or as a component of decorative materials (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare functional graphene loaded with turmeric extract which exerts the properties of nano materials and the excellent antibacterial and antiviral pharmacological activities. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing functional graphene loaded with turmeric extract involves preparing graphene oxide under the conditions of ice bath and stirring, slowly adding the mixture of graphite powder and sodium nitrate to concentrated sulfuric acid, continuing to stir for 2 to 5 minutes, adding potassium permanganate powder, stirring well until the temperature stabilizes to normal temperature, continueing to stir for 30-45min, slowly adding deionized water, diluting it with ionized water to 8-10 times the original volume, then adding a certain amount of hydrogen peroxide solution, filtering. The hydrochloric acid solution also cleans the filter cake, and finally the target product is dried. The sulfonated graphene is prepared by adding graphene oxide to water to form a uniform dispersion under the action of ultrasound, adjusting the pH of the solution to 9-10 by sodium carbonate, adding hydrazine hydrate at 80-100 degrees C, refluxing for 1-2h, filtering after cooling, washing the filter cake with deionized water, and drying to obtain suitable black graphene powder, and then mixing the black graphene powder suspension with the diazonium salt solution. The functionalized graphene is prepared by adding sulfonated graphene and methyl-beta-cyclodextrin to water to form a uniform dispersion under the action of ultrasound, adding ammonia water, and reacting at 70-90 degrees C for 8-12h, centrifuging after cooling, washing the filter cake with deionized water, and drying to obtain the black functionalized graphene powder.
