NOVELTY - The method involves respectively preparing a sodium alginate solution and a graphene oxide solution, and mixing the sodium alginate solution with the graphene oxide solution to obtain a mixed solution. The stainless steel mesh is dipped in the mixed solution, and rinsed with distilled water after dipping, and dried. The dried product is dipped in a calcium chloride solution, rinsed with distilled water after dipping, and dried. The dipping process is repeated, so that the graphene oxide/calcium alginate gel modified composite membrane is obtained. USE - Method for preparing graphene oxide/calcium alginate gel modified composite membrane for separating oil-water mixture. ADVANTAGE - The different oil-water mixture is effectively separated by graphene oxide/calcium alginate gel modified composite membrane. The graphene oxide/calcium alginate gel modified composite membrane has good stability and excellent super-hydrophilic underwater super oleophobic properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for an application for graphene oxide/calcium alginate gel modified composite membrane prepared by the method for the separation of an oil-water mixture.
