NOVELTY - The hybrid water purification system has photo-electrochemical cells (104) that are provided with rGO/BiVO4 photo catalyst as a photo anode (106) integrated with the dye sensitized solar cells (102) acting in tandem to purify water. The rGO/BiVO4 photo catalyst is coated using a thin film form through screen printing. USE - Hybrid water purification system using dye sensitized solar cells and photo-electrochemical cells. ADVANTAGE - The system removes impurities and microbial contaminants from water through hybridization of solar cells. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method of water purification by integrating photo-electrochemical cell.
