▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A photocatalytic material comprises a thin layer of reduced graphene oxide deposited on the surface of the titanium dioxide nanotube array and zinc oxide nanorod array vertically grown on the top of the titanium dioxide/reduced graphene oxide. USE - The photocatalytic material is used for UV-visible photocatalytic decomposition of organic dye rhodamine B (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The photocatalytic material is prepared by simple method and environmentally-friendly, and has improved stability and efficiency under mild reaction condition. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation method of photocatalytic material, which involves performing anodization process using a titanium sheet as an anode and a graphite sheet as a cathode, then adding electrolyte including ethylene glycol solution containing 0.3 wt.% ammonium fluoride and 2 vol.% deionized water, ultrasonically processing titanium piece for 10 minutes and then drying, rinsing surface of titanium piece with deionized water naturally drying and calcining to obtain titanium dioxide nanotube array, growing zinc oxide nanorod array vertically on top of titanium dioxide/reduced graphene oxide, rinsing surface of the titanium sheet with deionized water and drying at room temperature to obtain titanium dioxide/reduced graphene oxide composite system, dissolving 125 ml 0.01 M zinc acetate in methanol and vigorously stirring at 60 degrees C, adding 65 ml 0.03 M potassium hydroxide methanol solution and stirring at 60 degrees C for 2 hours to obtain zinc oxide seed liquid, immersing titanium piece of titanium dioxide/reduced graphene oxide in the zinc oxide seed liquid for 15 minutes, and drying at room temperature, adding 150 ml 0.02 M zinc nitrate aqueous solution and 0.02 M hexamethylenetetramine to round bottom flask and stirring, placing the titanium piece in the bottom of the round bottom flask and refluxing at 90 degrees C, removing the titanium sheet, rinsing with ethanol and deionized water and drying.
