NOVELTY - Polyetheramine-modified graphene oxide (I) are new. USE - (I) are useful as additive component in preparation of epoxy resin composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - (I) improves the tensile strength, toughness, flexural strength and glass transition temperature of the epoxy resin material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Polyetheramine-modified graphene oxide of formula Cn-A-B1 (I) are new. Cn = graphene; A = carbonyl group, carboxy group, hydroxy group or an epoxy group bonded to the carbon atoms of the graphene; and B1 = polyether amine group bonded to carbonyl group, carboxy group, hydroxy group, and an epoxy group. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparation of (I); (2) epoxy resin composite material comprising an epoxy resin, a curing agent and (I); and (3) use method of (I) in preparing epoxy resin composite material comprising (a) dispersing (I) in an organic solvent, preferably organic solvent is acetone, tetrahydrofuran or dichloromethane, (b) adding epoxy resin, dissolving and mixing, and (c) removing the solvent, adding curing agent and curing to obtain epoxy resin composite material, where weight ratio between modified graphene oxide and organic solvent is 0.3-1.5 mg/ml, preferably 1 mg/ml.
