NOVELTY - Preparing graphene oxide polyurethane coating comprises e.g. adding black graphite powder to concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring in magnetic ice water bath and adding potassium permanganate slowly multiple times, stirring, warming, slowly adding deionized water, heating, cooling, adding hydrogen peroxide, filtering and drying, extracting, sonicating and drying under vacuum for further use, dissolving grafted coat and mixed powder in the solvent, stirring, adding maleic anhydride grafted polyolefin, heating under nitrogen gas, adding acetic acid dropwise, adjusting pH, adding chitosan, seaweed polysaccharide, heating, drying using a freeze dryer, mixing with montmorillonite and nano bamboo fiber to obtain mixed powder for further use, dissolving polyurethane and auxiliary agent aqueous polyurethane with distilled water, heating, stirring until completely dissolved to form solution and adding aqueous film forming aid ethylene glycol butyl ether, OP-10 emulsifier and antifoaming agent. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene oxide polyurethane coating. ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide polyurethane coating has good thermal strength, flame retardancy, good strength and toughness. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene oxide polyurethane coating comprises (i) adding 2-8 pts. wt. black graphite powder to concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring in magnetic ice water bath for 1-1.5 hours and adding 3-5 pts. wt. potassium permanganate slowly multiple times, stirring reaction for 2-3 hours, warming to 30-40 degrees C, stirring for 30-45 minutes, slowly adding deionized water, heating to 95-100 degrees C for 30-45 minutes, cooling, adding 10-20 pts. wt. hydrogen peroxide (30%), filtering and drying, extracting for 12 hours, sonicating and drying under vacuum for 12 hours for further use; (ii) dissolving grafted coat and mixed powder obtained in step (i) in the solvent of 5-10 times, stirring for 30-40 minutes, adding 5-15 pts. wt. maleic anhydride grafted polyolefin, heating to 120-160 degrees C under nitrogen gas for 2-8 hours, adding 35 wt.% acetic acid dropwise, adjusting pH to 4-5, adding 5-10 pts. wt. chitosan, 5-10 pts. wt. seaweed polysaccharide and heating to 55-65 degrees C for 3-4 hours, drying using a freeze dryer, mixing with 5-15 pts. wt. montmorillonite and 5-15 pts. wt. nano bamboo fiber to obtain mixed powder for further use; (iii) dissolving polyurethane and auxiliary agent 20-30 pts. wt. aqueous polyurethane with 10-12 times of distilled water, heating to 80-90 degrees C, stirring until completely dissolved to form a solution, adding 2-5 pts. wt. aqueous film forming aid ethylene glycol butyl ether, 0.5-1 pts. wt. OP-10 emulsifier, 0.5-1 pts. wt. antifoaming agent, 0.2-0.5 pts. wt. dispersing agent, 0.4-0.6 pts. wt. citric acid to water and stirring to completely dissolve for further use; (iv) mixing mixed powder obtained in (ii) and mixed raw material obtained in step (iii), stirring at room temperature for 15-30 minutes and adding 20% mixed filler and ball milling for 2-3 hours.
