NOVELTY - Method for preparing graphene/peanut shell cellulose gel, involves (a) placing peanut shells in clear water for soaking for 24 hours, washing and drying peanut shells, crushing the peanut shells and sieving using 200 mesh sieve to obtain pretreated peanut shell powder, (b) adding peanut shell powder to reactor, adding dilute nitric acid, heating, cooling, adding sodium hydroxide, reacting, washing with distilled water, filtering and drying, (c) dispersing peanut shell cellulose to deionized water, adding sodium hydroxide and urea, heating at 60 degrees C, reacting for 30 minutes, after completing the reaction, adding peanut shell cellulose to refrigerator, freezing at -12 degrees C for 2 hours, and uniformly stirring, and (d) adding graphene, ultrasonically treating for 30 minutes, adding epichlorohydrin, reacting for 3-6 hours under stirring, washing with distilled water and ethanol after completing reaction, and drying. USE - The method is used for preparing graphene/peanut shell cellulose gel used in treatment of chromium-containing sewage (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method adopts wide source and easy-to-obtain raw materials, is economical and simple, realizes the recycling of agricultural waste, modifies the peanut shell cellulose, changes the surface properties of peanut shell cellulose, and improves the adsorption performance of peanut shell cellulose. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for preparing graphene/peanut shell cellulose gel, involves (a) placing peanut shells in clear water for soaking for 24 hours, washing and drying peanut shells, crushing the peanut shells and sieving using 200 mesh sieve to obtain pretreated peanut shell powder, (b) adding peanut shell powder to reactor, adding dilute nitric acid, heating at 300 W for 5 minutes, cooling, adding sodium hydroxide, reacting at 60 degrees C for 1-2 hours, washing with distilled water, filtering and drying to obtain peanut shell cellulose, (c) dispersing peanut shell cellulose in deionized water, adding sodium hydroxide and urea, heating at 60 degrees C, reacting for 30 minutes, after completing the reaction, adding peanut shell cellulose to refrigerator, freezing at -12 degrees C for 2 hours, and uniformly stirring at 4000 rpm for 5 minutes using high-speed stirrer to obtain peanut shell cellulose solution, and (d) adding graphene, ultrasonically treating for 30 minutes, adding epichlorohydrin, reacting for 3-6 hours under stirring, washing with distilled water and ethanol after completing reaction, and drying at 60 degrees C to obtain graphene/peanut shell cellulose gel.
