NOVELTY - Preparing silicon-based material comprises sending expanded graphite powder between the two electrodes in the explosion reaction chamber by the powder feeding device, evacuating the explosion reaction chamber, introducing a quantitative gaseous silane material, charging the capacitor, when the voltage across the capacitor exceeds the threshold voltage of the gap gas switch, turning on the gap gas switch, generating a high-energy electric pulse through the discharge of the capacitor, gasifying the expanded graphite powder, peeling off the expanded graphite powder to form sheet graphene through the impact force of the explosion, the sheet graphene collides with the gaseous silane material to exchange heat in the explosion reaction chamber, cracking the silane material to form nano-silicon, and combining the sheet graphene and the cracked nano-silicon to form a silicon-carbon composite material. USE - The method for preparing silicon-based material is useful for ithium battery cathode material of lithium battery (claimed).
