DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An electrode comprises a current collector and an electrode layer coated on one or more surfaces of the current collector. The electrode layer comprises an electrode active material, a binder, and an additive. The additive comprises compound of formula (I). An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for an electrode slurry, which comprises the electrode active material, the binder, the additive and a solvent.
