NOVELTY - Preparing graphene oxide modified flame retardant polyol involves adding 40-80 pts. wt. polyol and 0.1-30 pts. wt. flame retardant to the reaction device, and heating catalyst to 90-200 degrees C under alkaline conditions, carrying out reaction for 6-12 hours, and allowing reaction to cool to room temperature, using a centrifuge to centrifuge at 300-8000 revolutione per minutes, and removing supernatant to remove catalyst and water molecules. The 0.1-5 pts. wt. graphene oxide and 0.1-2 pts. wt. dispersing agent is added into reaction device, dispersed at high speed for 2-4 h, rotated at 100-500 revolutions per minute, forming a stable phase, and heated to 60-100 degrees C, continuously stirred for 1-65 hours. The temperature inside reaction device is lowered to 20-40 degrees C, unreacted graphene oxide is removed by centrifugation at 5000-10000 revolutions per minutes, and then water is removed by distillation under reduced pressure to obtain a graphene-modified flame retardant polyol. USE - Method for preparing graphene oxide modified flame retardant polyol. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphene oxide modified flame retardant polyol that improves flame retardant properties of the polyol to develop a polyol with inflaming retarding effect.
